Creating a new internship program from the ground up presented an exciting challenge, and it quickly became one of the most rewarding aspects of our work this year. The LevelUp Summer Internship Program was designed to be more than just a typical internship. We aimed to provide a hands-on experience that allowed our interns to engage in meaningful work while gaining the skills, confidence, and professional insights needed for long-term success.
Throughout the summer, our interns participated in a variety of professional development opportunities, including mentorship sessions, skill-building workshops, and networking events with Saga Education’s leaders. They worked alongside experienced professionals in our various departments, allowing them to develop their expertise, grow their networks, and enhance their ability to navigate the professional world.
Each intern brought unique perspectives and a commitment to learning that not only contributed to our projects but also to the overall success of the program. Their passion and drive to develop professionally have set a strong foundation for future cohorts, and we’re excited to see how the next group of interns will build on this progress.
National Intern Day provided us with a special moment to celebrate the incredible contributions and professional growth of our interns.
