Saga Education pays tutors hourly. Compensation varies by role, and whether the position is in-person or remote.

• Remote Math Tutors: $18/hour
• In-person Math Tutors: $21/hour
• In-Person Lead Math Tutors: $23/hour

In-person tutors are also eligible to receive a one-time, $500 relocation assistance allowance if relocating over 50 miles.

Our tutors receive ongoing coaching, observations, and professional development throughout the school year. Tutors participate in structured development cycles focused on instructional growth, which may include observations, feedback sessions, peer discussions, asynchronous modules, and self-directed learning opportunities. Development focuses on best-practice tutoring strategies, lesson planning, tutorial management, curriculum structures, and building strong relationships with students and the school community.
