Application

& Selection

Process

Application Deadline

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and begin to open in February. There is an advantage to applying earlier, as the selection process is highly competitive and becomes more selective as spots are filled.

Prospective AmeriCorps members must complete the online application. Please be prepared to submit a resume and answer one short, free-response question. No cover letter is required. This initial stage typically takes no more than 15 minutes.

2. Phone Interview

Selected candidates will chat with a member of our Talent Acquisition Team for 30-minutes to learn more about the organization and to determine if Saga is the right fit for them. Our Talent Acquisition Team will also determine if you are the right fit for Saga.

3. Math Assessment

Candidates who are selected to move forward are asked to complete a brief 6-question Math Assessment. This stage will take no more than 30 minutes. A minimum score of 4/6 is needed to be eligible to move on to the next stage.

4. Offer

Once the application and interview process is complete, and if the prospective candidate is the right fit for the program, an offer to serve will be extended.
